Check 2 Square

Place two check marks in each row and each column. Each check mark claims its own distinct territory, meaning no two check marks can be adjacent in any direction—horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Essentially, a square surrounding any check mark cannot contain another check mark. You can interact with the puzzle by clicking to place check marks, supporting crosses, or delete existing check marks. A helpful hint: the puzzle is easier to solve once you realize that any two adjacent rows or two adjacent columns must together contain exactly four check marks.
